無料英文チェッカーとして、Gingerを入れてみました。Windowsではデスクトップ版ツールがありますが、Mac版では未対応のようです。

で、FAQでは見つからず、問合せのメールを送らせていただきました。

そしたら、英語版のFAQにはばっちり書いてありましたが…。

Does Ginger work on a Mac?

A Mac version of Ginger is not currently offered. Click here to request a notification when Ginger for Macintosh is available. In the Comments field, type "Add me to Mac list".

一応、返信を下に貼っておきます。再度要望だした方が良いのかも。

しかし、日本語チェッカーも自分には必要ですね（笑）

Thank you for contacting Ginger Software. 

Unfortunately, Ginger is currently not compatible with Mac Operating System. 

However, we have Chrome and Safari extensions available for Mac users. These extensions will allow you to get Ginger's corrections in Google Chrome and Apple Safari.

You may download it for free from the Chrome web store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/ginger) or the Safari extensions page (https://extensions.apple.com)

We also keep a list of customers who are interested in being notified when Ginger is fully compatible with Mac. 

If you wish, I can add you to this list.
